One pass, every duration you need

The Unlimited Pass is the standard Cape Town City Pass — entry to more than 80 attractions, free hop-on hop-off bus included for the whole period, skip-the-line at selected sites. You only pick the length: a single day for a stopover, two days for a weekend, three days for a classic city break, or five days to cover everything from the Cape Peninsula to the Winelands.

Want a bucket-list experience too — helicopter flight, shark cage dive, safari? Take a look at the Premium Pass instead.

„Buying a 5 day City Pass showed me most of Cape Town and gained me entry to Table Mountain, museums and other attractions, saving money and time buying tickets and waiting in line. To me buying a pass is a no-brainer."

„A safe, easy and efficient way of seeing Cape Town at a fraction of the cost of other tourist tours. The buses are clean and well maintained and they provide earphones for a very informative recorded guide."

„Excellent value on the 5 day pass — around £90 including 5 days HOHO. In 5 days the equivalent would have cost us over £200."

Common questions about the Unlimited Pass

Do the days have to be consecutive?

Yes. A 3-day pass activated on Tuesday is valid Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday — no skipping a day in between. The countdown starts at your first scan, not at purchase.

Can I visit each attraction more than once?

No — each attraction can be visited once during the pass validity. The hop-on hop-off bus, of course, is unlimited within the pass period.

Is the Table Mountain Cableway included?

Yes, the pass is accepted at the Cableway. Note the annual maintenance closure — in 2026, Monday 27 July to Sunday 9 August.

What's the difference to the Premium Pass?

The Premium Pass adds one bucket-list experience (helicopter, shark cage dive, safari, whale watching or paragliding) on top of everything in the Unlimited Pass. Most travellers pick the Unlimited Pass — choose Premium only if you specifically want that one extra activity, otherwise the Unlimited Pass is the better value.
