You pick your premium experience during checkout on the official Cape Town City Pass site. Some experiences need a separate reservation after purchase; the operator emails the booking link with your pass voucher.
Weather-dependent experiences (helicopter, paragliding, shark cage dive, whale watching) are rescheduled when the operator cancels. Within the validity of your pass you can usually pick another date or experience; confirm this with the operator. There is no partial refund if you do not use the premium experience.
Some experiences include hotel pickup and drop-off (often the safari and the more remote tours). The operator's booking page lists it for each experience.
The operator sends you a booking link with your voucher email. Reserve as soon as you know your travel dates, especially for December and January and for the helicopter flight and shark cage dive. Capacities are not published.
No. Each Premium Pass includes exactly one premium experience. If you want a second, you can buy it separately on site or take a second Premium Pass.
Shark cage dive (Gansbaai), safari (Aquila) and whale watching (Gansbaai) involve 2–3 hours of driving each way, so plan a full day for them. Helicopter, paragliding and the sidecar tour stay in or near the city.
A few Cape Town classics are not part of the City Pass. These tours and tickets close the gaps; you book them separately on GetYourGuide.
